Sigma do Brasil can be defined as a company that extracts, benefits and saws ornamental rocks. It is place in Atílio Vivacqua (Espírito Santo State), in an area of 10.000m², and it produces 15.000m² rough and benefited slabs monthly. It owns its own quarries of some granite rocks, which are in its trade line, both for the home and for the international markets.

HISTORY:
1988...
Sigma do Brasil was founded in 1988 to develop industrial and trade activities in the sector of ornamental stones, and started its activities extracting blocks.

1989...
In 1989 Sigma started to cut blocks with four gangsaws, and its production has reached 15.000m² of raw slabs a month.

1992...
In 1992 Sigma´s partners decided to found the Plêiades Mineração Ltda., and thus expanded the mining plant in the north of Espírito Santo State. From 1994 on, the lines of products enlarged with the benefited materials, tiles and cut-to-size pieces, with outsourced services.

2002...
In 2002 they founded the Arte Rochas Ltda – ME, and thus triggering the benefit of the products. The engineer Atilio Travaglia, former president of the Sindirochas, is ahead of the company.
